2K Sports Has Done It Again!

Ok, so no need for numerous imagination intro, lets dive right into the good stuff! Alright, so NBA 2K is always improving, and that will never change. All these new features added each year makes this franchise the biggest in sports gaming. The most betterment Ive seen was in the my player mode. It has gotten so in depth it is not even funny. Now, the draft picks are more elaborated in that you actually have pre draft consultations which makes this game a lot more realistic. On top of that, the dialog of your player is much more believable. What i mean is that, the voice of your player doesn’t sound like a good deal of cheesy staged reputation who only speaks when spoken to, but rather has his own personality and style. Since we are on the topic of dialog, i will likewise like to mention the commentary for the duration of game play. They have unquestionably added galore new phrases and speeches, so you won’t have to listen the same “whoa!” each time you make a slam dunk. The my player or “career” mode is exceedingly fun and has bettered very much over the past year. Take it from me, your going to take pleasure in this game mode 10x more. There are not sufficient words to describe how astonished and impressed i am with these graphics. This is something you unquestionably have to see for yourself. Because this is a written review, of course, I can not go over each last game mode and spec of NBA 2k12. Just take my word for it, You will not be disappointed. Overall, this game will blow your mind. It offers each thing you could ask for and more in a sports game. I’d unquestionably commend this game to anybody looking for an astounding basketball gaming experience.

Words just can’t describe it!!!…

I just want to say, I had a heap of reserves when it comes to this year’s title. I liked last year’s 2K11 but I could not seem to genuinely get into the game much. Honestly, I think last year’s version was more difficult overall. So far I have tried to unlock the Dr. J challenge and was unsuccessful…lol Even thought I didn’t win to unlock his challenge it was still fun to play. Those old school players still “got game” they may ball. I had so much fun with the Legends and My Player modes that I haven’t even touched the regular game modes yet. I have officially been drafted in My Player, I had a ball creating my players each nook and cranny…very elaborated and so much fun. You may construct your players complexion, height, weight, eye color, facial hair, muscular physique, tatoos, instrumentation ie braces, bands, headbands, socks and sneakers (name brand w/ player endorsed footwear) I have the 2011 Hyperdunks Gray/Black/Red. I was also competent to create my players signature style and moves. After I did all of that, I was entered into a pre-draft all-star game being watched by NBA team scouts. I did gorgeous good 24pts.,(3)rebounds,(2)assists,(4)steals and(4)fouls…yikes. All of your stats are on the top right side of the screen so you may keep an eye on your progress and you likewise get graded A by way of F. The commentators are hard on you if you mess up and will praise you to death if your doing well, they will make remarks regarding if you are draft material or not. This game has a lot of pressure centered around it…all for the best I guess. After this game was over I had(3)interviews one with the Pacers, Suns and the 76ers. I was drafted round (1) pick 13 by the Phoenix Suns. You would have thought I was drafted in real life… it was so exciting. I could go on for ever with regards to the fun I had playing in My Player mode.

I am not the biggest NBA 2K player by far, but now I have some motivation to go to the next level and undertake to get better and be competitive. I thought last year’s 2K 11 was ground breaking, but the critics were right this game is by far the best game of all of the NBA 2K series. It makes you wonder what is in store for next year’s edition. FYI, I read that because of the current NBA lockout; 2K Sports was forbidden to put any of the current NBA players on the cover of this year’s edition (NBA 2K 12). Personally I like the Legends being on the covers. I like the fact that this year, you may choose (1) out of (3) Legends on your copy of the game, that is Michael Jordan, Larry Bird or Erving “Magic” Johnson. All and all this game is worth it to buy, I don’t suggest you rent it because you will have to send it back, JUST BUY IT!!!

Very Nice Dress Shoes

I got a great deal of compliments on these shoes. They look beauteous nice, the laces are not leather laces but I like them just fine. I wear a size 10 shoe and my foot is genuinely 9 inches so I went with the Small which says it is for 8-9 inch feet and they fit perfective on me. Overall good price and quality dress shoes.

Putting on the Ritz!

Like most people, I purchased these for a costume accessory. However, I may have to find occasions to wear them, they’re that good. The packaging, for starters, was impressive- the mailing box was stuffed with airbags to cushion the shoe box, which held the shoes in person wrappings of plastic and tissue paper. Insides were stuffed with cardboard formers and MORE tissue paper. Began to wonder if there were any shoes…

Finally found the shoes- they fit great. I wear a 10.5, so I got the 10-11 and they’re roomy without being too large. Dress socks are perfect, but for someone with littler feet, go with an athletic sock to fill out the shoe a bit.

The patent leather gives it a real dapper finish, and they REALLY stand out. Tried them on with my suit and they look GREAT- much better than the faux spats I had purchased previously.

The ONLY gripe I have is the laces- they’re robust as you see in the ad photo, not the thin laces you normally see with dress shoes. Don’t know if that’s with respect to history precise or just the shoe company…may swap them for dress laces, I haven’t decisive yet.

Overall though, they look great, fit great, and the quality seems very nice- peculiarly for the price!

Gr 2-4-Deloris Jordan tells of an episode in her famous son’s childhood in which the future superstar yearned to be a better basketball player. Michael wished to be taller so that he could compete with the more prominent kids, exceptionally one fellow member of an opposing team. His mother suggested that a combining of salt in his shoes, patience, and prayer would do the trick. Michael, seeing his mother’s success with plants, consorted to give it a try, but after assorted months, he was disappointed to see that he was still the same size. While his mother prayed, he practiced rather of playing but still he didn’t grow. When he told his father that he necessitated to be taller, his father explained that he was already a great player because of his heart, and that “practice, determination, and giving your best” were the things that made somebody a winner. Salt in His Shoes

I saw Deloris Jordan and Roslyn Jordan interviewed on one of the morning shows and was anxious to get this book and part it with my second graders. I was not disappointed. I’m always looking for real life role models to tell the kids with regards to and Michael Jordan and his determination to achieve his dream in truth fit the bill. It had so a good deal of parts in it that are crucial for today’s kids…ignoring bullies, looking to your families for support, not giving up, keeping your eye on a dream, knowing what you want in life. I hope that my students do not forget the lessons taught in this fine story and at least commence to learn what may be achieved.

salt in his shoes and the salt of the earth

I had the privelege of meeting Mrs. Jordan and Roslyn at a recent booksigning in Chicago. To listen both these aweinspiring ladies speak, was inspirational and makes one realize that Michael Jordan’s family is also the salt of the earth. Futhermore, in their remarks, they stressed how they are just an standard family who happened to raise an extraordinary talent; however, their family was, and proceeds to be, the source of his strength, determination, and self-confidence. Not only is the story told in “Salt in His Shoes” inspiring to children, it has basic lessons to which a person of any age may relate. The book is wondrous illustrated, and the text is lively and endearing. How wondrous that Mrs. Jordan and Roslyn shared this family story with us, emphasizing that while Michael was the center of the story, the lessons of the book go beyond Michael Jordan because it is all in regards to family.

Aspiration and inspiration

This is a terrifi story — and would be even if it weren’t regarding such a star — when it comes to a scrawny little kid who keeps attempting and attempting and trying, all the while encouraged by his very loving family. I purchased it because I loved the jacket and the illustrations — but am reading it again and again to my little boy because he always asks to listen it. It’s inspiring and amusive and just a neat book.

Invaluable book!

Relationships are complex. People don’t come with user manuals to help us figure each other out. While over the years, a lot of have written books on dating and marriage, far less books have been written on friendships. The Bible defines a friend as one who “sticks closer than a brother” and one who “would lay down his life for you” (Proverbs 18:24 and John 15:13). In our social media culture, it seems that true friends, Biblical friends, are often very hard to come by, and very precious when they are found. When other relationships break down, we go to our nearest friends. But what do we do when there is a rift among close friends?
Marian Jordan gives three key points critical to friendships that she further breaks down in the bulk of the book. First, as women, we need to make sure we grant God to fill our aroused needs. We can’t seek our boyfriend or spouse or other friends to fill that aroused need. Secondly, we need to realize our own sin nature has an averse affect on advancing godly relationships. Our pride, jealousy and jealousy may get in the way and formulate such baggage that when left to grow will only destruct our friendships. Finally we need to grasp and exercise the characteristics of godly friendships.
As a child, I had a amount of time when I had just changed schools and was lonely. One very wise teacher shared a lot of counsel that I have not forgotten. She told me, “if you want to have friends, you ought to be a friend.” This book was very much a reminder of that. With the backdrop of traveling, Marian Jordan does a outstanding occupation of illustrating the joys and heartaches of friendships, and how we as women may have godly friendships. I highly commend this book to any mom wanting to improve her friendships and to instruct her daughters when it comes to godly friendships. I commend this to any ministry leader wanting to instruct a series on godly friendships or to do a weekend or week long retreat. While I suspect this book was meant for women around the ages of 16-30, it could be used for women of all ages, the world over. This book will be an priceless resource for this generation of women!

PAID $ 405.00 AND CAME TO FIND OUT THAT THEY ARE FAKE!!

So I ordered them on the 6th of October and received them on the 12th. So shipping was gorgeous quick (it was 30$ though). So when I got them, there were a couple of things that were off. The font on the inner tag was way off. The carbon fiber on the sole was also off. The “23″ in the back heel tab was slanted. So then I posted pictures online to see if they were authentic. And it was confirmed that they were not. Here is a link to the authenticity check.
